Master of Speech-Language Pathology

You get clinical experience starting your first semester. Most of our first-year off-campus clinical placements are in child-client settings. However, there is a strong focus on adult clients and medical settings built into the program. During the second year, 你完成了两个, 10-12 week internships which can be completed outside the Quad Cities area. 

You will complete a research project and participate in service learning. In recent years, the majority of service learning sites included adult clients. 

研究生s of our program will be eligible for American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification and other relevant state credentials.

• Our established partnerships with community agencies allow you to develop and refine clinical skills in early childhood centers, after-school programs, rehabilitation facilities, and private and public schools.

In the past 10 years, MSLP students have provided therapy to more than 550 children and adults who could not afford or were ineligible to receive services for a communication disorder. • Work directly with patients in the Interprofessional Healthcare Clinic. 在这里, you team up with graduate students in Social Work, 物理治疗, Occupational Therapy, and Physician Assistant Studies programs to provide comprehensive, person-centered care to local residents. The One Price Tuition Plan ensures your tuition costs are consistent across semesters, making financial planning easier.

For the cohort of students entering the MSLP Program in 秋天 2024, the total tuition cost of the two year program is $70,970. It includes tuition, 课程费用, liability insurance, 技术的费用, matriculation fee, and graduation application fees. You may encounter additional costs, which we've outlined below.
